The Joint Filipino-Norwegian Maritime Unions General Assistance and Information Office, Inc. Manila, Philippines ( Fil-Nor GAIN, Inc.) is a service center for all Filipino Seafarers working on board NIS vessels or Norwegian controlled vessels.

The staff is all Filipino and has extensive knowledge of the agreements, regulations and social conditions pertaining to Filipino seafarers aboard Norwegian owned and/or controlled ships.

Seafarers sailing with different Norwegian fleet are welcome to contact or visit our office regarding any CBA related and/or NSA Provident Fund inquiries.

Finally, The International Labor Organization (ILO) Convention No. 185 or the Seafarer Identity Document (SID) is now moving although it appears too slow.
